Ch. 5: God’s High and Holy Standard

  • there are sins that we will commit as long as we do not cross the “line” of our own standard. For example, we will not commit adultery but we will gossip; we will not get drunk but we will worry p. 69
  • all that we think or do (including everyday, mundane actions such as eating or drinking) is to be done exclusively for the glory of God Most High (1 Corinthians 10:31) p. 69
  • to glorify God means to call attention to His worth and to proclaim His excellencies p. 69
