  • We should be organized and include time in our day to read, study, and meditate on the Word of God. It should be a priority, not an afterthought at the end of the day. If you do not have time, (ask yourself what you are spending your time doing?)… each of us is going to do what is really important to us. p. 98

Application Questions:

  1. Which point for why we study bible doctrine convicted you the most?
  2. Have you noticed a difference in these areas when you are including doctrine in your daily life and when you are not?
  3. Do a time breakdown of each day, much like when you’re looking at a budget, and pick an area where you can cut back and add studying God’s Word to that area. Then make a reading plan (an official one or pick one book and read one chapter each day) and stick to it.
